LTO hires an Interim Part-time Executive Secretary
After an extensive search, the Little Theatre of Owatonna’s Board of Directors has hired Victoria Bartkowiak as the Interim Part-time Executive Secretary.
“We had a number of good applicants that applied for the position, but Victoria’s background and experience helped to bring her to the top of the list,” said Michael Jensen, LTO Board President.
Victoria comes to Owatonna by way of Michigan. Victoria earned her Bachelor of Science in Theater at Northern Michigan University. Since coming to Owatonna Victoria has been actively involved with Little Theatre in various ways. Victoria has served on the Board of Directors. Some of the productions that she has participated in include: Streetcar Named Desire, Snapshots, Shrek, Funny Girl, Much Ado About Nothing, as well as Alice in Wonderland. Victoria has a strong background in Stage Management as well as other aspects of what is involved in a theatre production.
Victoria was also instrumental in the transition of the box office from the late Sharon Stark, who held the title of Executive Secretary for 52 years. Victoria worked closely with LTO’s ticketing software to enable LTO’s members to redeem their Admission Flex Passes online for the first time this year. “Victoria is a self-starter and will make a nice addition to the LTO Family, we are excited to see what she can do this year,” said Norma Louis, Past LTO Board Member.
This position is an interim position for one year, at the end of that time, a final decision will be made on how to move forward. “Victoria will work hard to evaluate what is involved with the Executive Secretary position and provide great feedback to the Board for future decisions about the position and what it involves,” said Curt J Jorgensen, LTO Board Member.
LTO is a Non-Profit Community-based theatre company in Owatonna, Minnesota that is slated to produce five theatre productions in the 2018-2019 season along with a children’s camp during the summer of 2019.
